Letter from Frank to Fanny Hall. Camp Near White Oak Church, Va.
Same Camp Near Belle Plain
Jan. 14th 1863
Own Dear Wify,
Here we are yet hubby is well, a little cold I have had
in my head, but it is almost put away.
We are expecting to move but no order comes.
Our tent is very comfortable, fireplace, bed steads.
Mine is over the Major's. We don't sleep on the ground now & we do sleep
so soundly. I don't want to get up in the morning.
Own Dear Wify, how I love you. I am writing my journal
letter, wrote much yesterday & will soon send it off again. I will only
write these few lines to say all is well & God's blessing hubby in the
woods. Good by with dear kiss to own one from
Franky.
